More SR

Folks - I'm out sick today.  Please play with these questions:

1.  What is the twin paradox?  Wherein lies the problem?  The Wikipedia page may be helpful, among other sources.

2.  Find out some info about the muon problem - mu mesons make it to earth, despite having a laboratory lifespan that should preclude such a possibility.  Find the numbers here, if you can.

3.  Read my notes on length contraction, etc.  and follow the twin paradox problem.  You can use the same method to solve the earlier hw problem (Stacey and Spacey), if you didn't get it.

4. If you have time, look into the derivation for E = m c^2.
